米大手オンラインDVDレンタルのNetflix社ではオンライン動画配信サービスに「Dolby Digital Plus」を採用し、AppleTVやPlayStation3などで楽しめる最大7.1chのHDオーディオでの動画ストリーミングの提供を開始しました。
